Kaleb + Ashley Smalling.

The Smalling wedding was gorgeous!! When I moved to Louisiana, I imagined myself shooting lots of breath taking plantation weddings, like theirs. I love, love that Ashley gave me full rein! She trusted me enough, to let me tell everyone where to be for pictures so my job ran very smoothly. The wedding party was made up of some really fun and entertaining people! Their dance moves kept me laughing all night! The more and more that I've been editing their wedding, the more and more I like this couple. Usually, on wedding days couples are super sweet to each other...abnormally sweet. Ashley and Kaleb kind of had a tiff....
I told Ashley, "someone has to walk down the aisle because these may be the prettiest pictures I ever taken!" Many couples go through the "wedding phase" and spend all this time in fairytale land that they forget in the real world, couples fight. Ashley and Kaleb, showed on their wedding day they know how to handle conflict. They know miscommunication is going to happened and they figured out a way to get passed it. Their love is strong, mature and I witnessed it first hand.

Ashley is gorgeous! If she lived closer to me, I would ask her to let me take pictures of her all time! Ever since I've met her, I've kept referring her as a "modern day Belle." She looks like Belle from Beauty & The Beast to me!
